After a long and hard fight to get approval for my Bypass - it finally got approved and am booked in for surgery on the 1st of October.

The nerves are kicking in already and have been a ball of emotions today! Now begins the next month of a diet to ensure I am in better shape for it.

I keep asking myself am I doing the right thing, I know I am as I am currently on a horrible road and if I keep going down the road I am going, it's not going to end well!

Please tell me I am doing the right thing, and that you have all felt similar emotions!

Getting close to liquid diet.
Starts this weekend for me on Sunday.
Follow up with cardiology. Pulmonary. And family doctor.
Scope on the 19th
Pre op the 23rd
And surgery the 29th.

I'm scheduled for Oct 22 on my pre-op diet now

@lisacaron I am also have a Band to bypass on Oct 22 I'm currently on day 3 of 2 week pre-op diet can you let me know how your surgery goes

Has anyone started a private group on facebook for October surgery?

I am 12days post surgery now. Text book recovery and feeling great. Went back to work on Wednesday (9days post op) and it's great to be back into a routine. Already feeling the weightloss in my clothes.

Surgery 10/29

I'm currently on the liver shrink diet, but its not full liquid. My surgery is on 10/19. The day before surgery I have to do full liquid only.

I just had a revision from lapband to sleeve on the 1st of October.

How are you feeling? When did you have the lapband done? I had my lap band surgery in 2009. Revision is schedule for 10/19. Just slight nervous & pray it's done in one procedure
