October Bypass

After a long and hard fight to get approval for my Bypass - it finally got approved and am booked in for surgery on the 1st of October.

The nerves are kicking in already and have been a ball of emotions today! Now begins the next month of a diet to ensure I am in better shape for it.

I keep asking myself am I doing the right thing, I know I am as I am currently on a horrible road and if I keep going down the road I am going, it's not going to end well!

Please tell me I am doing the right thing, and that you have all felt similar emotions!

Your gastrointestinal system has no conscience, feels no guilt, you just had a warning free-fall, didn't you?... Frustr8 you're plowing your own pathway to success, you will be fine, you will be healthy when THIS is all Over! Me? I'm. NOT SO SURE ![emoji47][emoji97][emoji26]

October 30th Sleeve to Bypass revision surgery. The sleeve caused me to have major Gerd. It’s all gone now.

I only lost about 45 pounds with the sleeve so I am nervous that I won’t lose the weight I want to lose with the bypass and this is really my last chance.

I have posted already in few topics but hey, I had mine gastric bypass on 23of October... now starting my solid food journey on my own as I don’t have nutritionist or something like that.. had some complications with internal bleeding and now drop down in potassium, did not use any protein shakes nor pre op nor after... still feel a bit week but much better, I am more concerned about to get stronger rather that thiner ? am I the only one like that here?
