I just had a follow-up appointment with my bariatric surgeon from my EGD and he said that I have the option between roux-en-Y gastric bypass, gastric sleeve, and lap band. The lap band was a no for me, so I have the option between the other two.

What is everyone’s input on each surgery and what made them pick one over the other?

And learn as much as you can, lurk on here, check out videos of whichever one you think you might,want. Many say the VSG is a quicker, easier surgery, that said there are a lot of sleevers on here. as well as those with RnY, which I will join in exactly a month. If you want to know more about one than the other, just ask.Many,of,us will share why we chose the one we did I talk about my decision at the drop of a hat.
What we want most of all is to make your,surgery smooth and easy. And although there may be an occasional blip, we are pretty happy vocal people.
