Had gastric sleeve june8. Still on liquid diet for a week and half more. Wondering if anyone encounters issues with the pills the doc sent them. Crushing them and drinking it its disgusting. Any tips?

Also how do you all sleep? Experience any night pain?

I had to take my pills one at a time with at least 5 minutes in between each, but I took them whole. It could easily take me an hour to get the pills down for the first week or so. As far as night pain that only really became an issue when i changed position (with the exception of the first day in the hospital) and even then only for the first couple of weeks.

I just had my sleeve on Tuesday June 5 & I’m amazed at how many differences there are in post op instructions on these forums! I have to be off three types of diabetes meds & all vitamins until my post op visit in two weeks. I was worried my sugar would drop but so far so good. I did buy Mary Ruth’s liquid vitamins on Amazon but not taking them yet! It’s interesting!

I never had an issue swallowing anything after my sleeve.

My doc said i had to wait a month to swallow pills
