No, you are not drinking too much. Just keep with your intake and slowly increase as you've been doing. No pain means you are doing it the right way.

I am today 5 days post op, surgery was early AM Friday June 1st: and what I've heard is how hard it is to get water in. Sunday I was able to get 12oz in, Monday 14oz in, and yesterday Tuesday I got 18oz in. I'm not drinking these amounts all at once it's from the moment I wake to just before bed but I'm concerned I'm drinking too much? I'm not in pain Etc. Just trying to get my water in like I was told.
