Hi all, I am having gastric bypass on June 27th (YAY!!!). Friends asked us to a Keith Urban concert on July 8th. The venue is a 30 minute drive from our house. We’d be getting “lawn seats” so basically sitting on blankets watching the sunset and listening to good music... Do you think this is do-able, 10 days post op? Thanks for your input [emoji175]

You should be fine. I went to a show a 17 days after my surgery. Just take your time and ensure you are seated and have an exit plan just in case.

I agree with having an exit plan. Make sure everyone you go with knows your situation & will be understanding if you feel the need to leave early if you're uncomfortable. Don't be a hero: If you need to leave, leave! Good luck! Let us know how it goes.
