It all happened so fast for me, I think that’s why I am a little scared. Started this process on 5/21 and here I am July 2nd having surgery. On day 3 of my pre-op liquid diet!

Wow that was fast! Congrats to you!!! Were you self pay for it to move so quickly?

Finally found someone with the same date as me! Congratulations!!

Oh my goodness, I just realized that my surgery is only 5 days away!! I think that my husband is more worried about it than I am.....Its the first surgery I have ever had, so he is concerned. I told him that all my pre-op testing is good and normal. So, far my surgery is scheduled for 11am. I am a little nervous, but excited too.

Hello ! My surgery is July 10th!! I’m working on my liquid diet and so far it’s been okay. I haven’t lost any weight for being on day 5 but I am hoping that changes as time goes on! Good luck to all

I'm right behind you @Simpson062681 Just got approved yesterday from insurance which happened to be day 1 of my preop diet. Not on a strictly liquid diet so it's not that bad. Yesterday was fine until the boredom at night came but made it through. Havn't done lunch yet and feeling a bit hungry but wanna wait a bit longer before having my 2nd shake. Surgery is July 12th for me.

Also on the 12th and doing a no fat/sugar/carb liver shrinking diet.

Never noticed how much I randomly think of food throughout the day and it would normally cause me to go get whatever just popped in my head. The struggle is real but I’m determined to conquer this.

I am so excited for all of us! I appreciate all the support and discussion! Good luck to all of us having surgery in the next few weeks! I will start my pre op diet on the 8 th. I have not yet been approved by my insurance. I hope we will have that back this week ahead.

Just turned over the calendar to begin July tomorrow -- my palms had a sweaty moment as I viewed the month, realizing July 17 is coming up fast! Am I ready? Almost, but the clock will keep ticking whether I'm ready or not. Anxious to begin the 10-day pre-op, but may indulge in a piece of zucchini bread before that starts July 7. I miss baking. However, I keep saying to myself, It's Only Temporary! O yes, I'm in Michigan.

And I'm getting it bad, I'm ready for Any Day that month, I'll get a ride into Columbus with a tractor or truck driver if necessary, plenty of pickups in my family. If Dr Needleman can make it into work, I'll be there. Starting to pick my duffle, Roux en Rabbit is sitting on top waiting. Surgery Ho the Wagons!?
