Relax and Heal this was not minor surgery and on the inside your body is in WTF did you do to me mode. Some get past this in a few days and other need a week or two. glad to hear you are doi

Put the scale away for two weeks. You just had surgery. Let your body heal a bit. Be kind to yourself for just two weeks and forget you own the scale.

I came home from the hospital 6 pounds heavier! It’s all the water and swelling. Do yourself a favor and wait 2 weeks before weighing yourself.

I was sleeved on Monday in Mexico, flew home last night and so far other than some tolerable pain everything has been perfect. I stepped on the scale this morning and discovered I am the same weight as when I flew to Mexico on Sunday. How is this possible? Certainly, my stomach itself should have weighed something. Trying to not feel discouraged but does anyone have any insight?
