Post Appetite

How long do you stay full post op? You know how before surgery you can eat a big meal and feel full for hours. After surgery you eat a very small amount of food, how long do you stay full?

I am finding that I feel hungy all the time. I keep thinking about food. My mind is hungry for food and my body is not. I keep telling myself "nothing tastes like thin feels"

I’m not hungry at all, and I sip so much water I almost constantly feel “full” however I force myself to eat at routine times to make sure I can hit my 60g protein goal.

I think it’s different for everyone. I’m about a month & half post op. I eat about two to 3 meals a day about 2-3oz. I stay full for hours. My meals are spread out to like 3 hours in between each.

I’m about 5 months out and only really hungry in the morning and that’s mild just noticeable. I eat 4 oz every 4 hours but have to remember to eat . Typically not hungry afterward at all

I eat 5 very small meals per day. I get hungry every 2-3 hours. I so wished that I would have been one of the lucky ones that had to remind myself to eat.

It was just not to be for me.
