Dark Urine

Hiya,

Has anyone experienced very dark cloudy urine out of the blue? It seems to happen on days I’m not doing good with water or like today I spent a few hours at the beach and then came home to a few hours of yard work and I know I’m way low on H2O.. but it looks like coffee coming out? Freaky.. anyone?

You need to drink more. You could be getting dangerously dehydrated. You do NOT want to end up in the emergency room. Your water bottle is your friend.

Creekimp13 is right. You are dangerously low on fluids! It may take days to get you back to normal.

Are you taking vitamins? I find those make my pee go pretty golden.

CHUG - CHUG - CHUG!!! Just kidding ;)

what color is it normally?

Urine that dark means your kidneys are struggling to do their job with minimal water; you can cause acute renal failure. In fact, that's the only time I've seen urine that dark; my husband was in acute renal failure from severe dehydration.

Yes it’s freaky.. I’ve been drinking more water.. it was dark when I first got home from the hospital and only once or twice since then

Good idea, GwennyPenny, I second it!?

Get your fluids down, I keep my Yeti handy all day and try to get at least 4 30oz cups down everyday. The days I don't i get darker urine as well. Stay Hydrated my friend summer is coming...
