My organization does not usually work summer school, but I do because I am in an alternative school that offers summer school. I won't be there this year because of my surgery :(. I am hoping we can encourage and keep each other accountable through this forum, and maybe us Texas folks can meet up next summer in a central location. Enchanted rock in Fredericksburg, the River Walk in San Antonio, 6th Street in Austin, or the trillion of places near Dallas where my daughter is. Heck, maybe we can walk a 5k together, just trying to be optimistic and be with some people that get it. I have attached this video before but I hope you guys enjoy my weight loss fish.

I'd be up for meeting for a 5k next year as well. I'd love to meet some fellow Texas sleevers. I'm in the Houston area. Getting sleeve done on May 30.

Just got my tentative date today. June 22, start the pre-op diet June 7 and labs again on June 14.

Should be fine as long as Aetna doesn’t screw it all up because I am using dated photos not documented weights for 2017. (2016 and 2018 are under control) The RN coordinator swears it’ll be fine and they do it all the time so I’m trusting her ?

Also apparently my surgeon is retiring in July and is leaving his patients in the capable hands of his partners ?‍♀️ Wish I’d known that 3 months ago but I’m not starting this process over again lol

I’m hoping for a June date! I’m just waiting to get my approval from insurance and it’s been about a week! Nervous and so very excited!! ?

Hi all, my surgery is scheduled for June 15th. Can’t believe it is finally scheduled. I had a long list of tests, even a few extras since I am 66 but I am so excited now that I have been through pre op and the next step will be showing up for surgery.
