Sorry. ((hugs)) The days do get better, but there are occasional down days or down moments! Hang in there and power through them!

Is there anything, you liked before but might come in a lower calorie version or that you could add protein powder to? Are you far enough that you can have meats? When I get hungry like that I reach for my StarKist tuna pouchs, run about $1 at,WallyWorld and other groceries, many different flavors, I stir in a little lower calorie mayo if it seems dry, a good source of protein and if I don't eat it all I don't feel as bad about throwing it in the trash as I would if it was a whole can.[emoji13]

I love these, my only gripe is that I can't find the bacon ranch flavor that they advertise on their website in my actual store.

I felt like I spent most of the day drinking protein, broth, and jello. I used to like the Premier vanilla shake and now its sickly sweet. I still have gas pain which extents to back pain. Does anyone know why and how that happens? My incision site is still very raw. How long before everyone truly bounces back?

Well, we are two...can't get my protein down either, nauseous and I don't have any energy today. We had surgery about the same time so I'm guessing it's pretty normal. I'm sure tomorrow will be better, hang in there ...you're not alone !

This food stage seems like an eternity, but it will pass and you will feel better as soon as you can have some actual food. Hang in there, you are at least on 'this side of the river' now and moving forward.
