Incision around navel

I found out when I woke up that my stomach was pulled through my navel. Has this happened with anyone else? I thought this was weird

My stomach extraction point was definitely above my naval and to the right, clearly over the large abdominal muscles. Believe you me I feel it! BWAHAHAHA!

Well crap i just googled how big the stomach piece is when removed and Holy F***K

now i am equal parts disgusted and amazed. I guess it helped that it was empty and in the video they had filled it. but just yuck lol

I just watch the video on inflating the stomach that was neat and while they said a whole pizza could have been ate and shoved in that stomach it's amazing to see the stomach

That's what my doctor did. I didn't even know I had an incision there until my 7 day follow up and I said I felt a scab (it was the incision glue) in my navel. They said that is where my stomach was removed.

I am having my surgery Monday and not looking forward to having my bellybutton look like a cats anus.

You are not the first person I have heard of having that, some surgeons even boast that's a better way to do that. Makes my navel kinda itch thinking about it! How about it folks?

I just re-read the pro-surgical list of things to do, and of them is too "thoroughly clean out your belly button".

Interesting.
