Yes, it's normal. It will go away over time.

yes very normal. I'm 10 weeks post op and it still makes weird noises.

Yup, my stomach is making weird gurgly noises too. I'm hoping that this isn't the new normal.

Yep. I’m 15 days out and mine makes all kinds of new sounds.

Found out during my support group session that the sounds are coming from the intestines and when we had our stomaches the sound was somewhat muted. Since our stomaches are diminished the sounds are now amplified due to the lack of "sound proofing".

So this is a forevs thing? LOL. It sounds like a clogged drain! Liquid plumber won't hurt pipes! But it will kill us! ROFL!

I wanna know the same thing - is this the new norm?!? It's so embarrassing to take a drink of water or eat with others while trying to stifle the clogged drain sound. UGH!!!

I was sleeved 3/12 and for the past 3 mornings I’ve woken up at 430am with crazy noises and hunger pangs. Anyone else experience this?

The "pangs" could be your stomach still trying to heal. Definitely check with your doctor to make sure your healing progress is on track. I'm almost 4 months post-op and my stomach STILL makes noises. Hoping this is not a permanent side effect.

14 months out my tummy still makes noise. I don't think it will go away. I will have to pay better attention to when it's doing it...if its empty... If I've ate...how long ago did I eat...water only .....now I'm curious lol.... one more thing to log in my book ..dang it lol

I'm 7 months out and my stomach sounds vary. Some sound like Chewbacca, some like my pet pi, some like an airplane, and some sound like an alien in there. Sometimes my mouth acts like an amplifier, like if I'm on a conference call. I just laugh it off.

I like this! It's best not to worry about this kind of thing as it is small potatoes.

Now, don't be too hasty there @Mattymatt. Never discount a perfectly good reason to worry, prematurely! :D

Mine was an angry sea dragon yesterday! :D
