Hungry

I’m hungry all the time. Take a few bites of a meal. Then hungry again about 5-15 minutes later. Like ravaging hungry. Is this normal? Does this happen to anyone else?

Yes. 1 oz at meal time. Drinking my disgusting protein shakes. I’m terrified I’m going to gain and it’s only 4 weeks since I have.

I literally just posted on another thread about being hungry. I'm only one week out. Going to the Dr. today to see what he thinks about this hunger.

In time you'll figure out what is real hunger and what is head hunger. In the early stages you're going through real hunger. Some of us had no hunger at all for the first few weeks. Others felt hungry the same day as surgery.

Head hunger will creep in eventually and it's a tough bastard to fight. It's like the old joke where you tell somebody "don't think about sex." So what do you do? Start thinking about sex. It's the same with food. If you keep thinking about being hungry it's all you dwell on. Some times getting up and doing something for 5-10 minutes will get your mind off it.

I'm hungry a lot as well. I'm 5.5 weeks out. Almost to the no restriction point. The hunger is slowly gotten better as I progress through the stages. I read somewhere the hunger is due to high acid production. I've also read that when you are on solids the hunger goes away. I hope so. I guess I'll find out in a week.

[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] I literally laughed at the “drinking my disgusting protein shakes”

Hahahaha this was so me when I first got sleeved, ironically enough you may just have Head hunger. When you can officially eat solid foods you might not feel like that anymore, I didn’t. Good luck [emoji4]
