I am 3 weeks out today and over the last week I have been having really sharp pains on my right side and my back has been really hurting. I was around and it helps but than comes back. Sometimes its so bad i can't even move. I havent been hungry at all so I am having a hard time getting all my shakes in and per my doctors orders today is the first day to try soft foods but I am scared to try. Has anyone had this problem.

Yes! I had my sleeve 8 days ago I have the same problem I have the pain in my right rib! Its hurts when I breath, or take deep breath, or laugh Or move a certain way it feels like I'm being stabbed in my rib! I thought it was trapped gas but I'm thinking its not. But by your defiantly not alone on this. I'm going to ask my Dr about it tomorrow.

Are you having bowel movements or passing gas? I had this when I was not drinking enough water and got stopped up. Not fun! Drink more water, take some stool softeners if you need to and its ok with your doc. Definitely check with your doc about the pain.
