In the hospital for your surgery? How many days?

had my surgery monday october 1 at 11am and i was out of the hospital at 12pm the next day

I had my surgery 8:30 am 10-11-07, and was out by 2 pm the next day.

My doc is very conservative. Two nights and three days in the hospital.

I went in at 10 am, walked out at 2:30 p.m that afternoon and made a 2 hr ride home. Never had a pain of any kind.

Went in at nine and out by 5-didn't feel a lot of pain until the next day and then only for a day or 2.

I was in the hospital for 3 days and 2 nights w/ surgery on the first evening. I went to Mexico for mine.

I stayed overnight but didn't really need to. In fact, I wished I hadn't because they kept disturbing me every 4 hours taking bloody pressure, temperature etc.

Surgery on March 20 at 8:30am, out March 21 at 9am.

My surgery was at 7:15 on Oct. 17 and I was out by 2:00 that same day!!

Surgery was at 1:20pm, I was getting into the car for the drive home at 4:30pm - same day. I could have left 30 minutes earlier, but I asked for more demerol.

I had surgery Monday, Oct. 15, stayed overnight and went home Tuesday.

In by 6am and home by 10am (I live 45 minutes from the hospital!)

Got to the hospital at 6 am, surgery at 7:45 am and was home by noon (I live right down the road from the hospital). It was a breeze!

I'm wondering if age has anything to do with the fact that some of you were in and out on the same day.

I'm 48 and was in for 1 night. I passed a stress test. I don't have any other problems, like diabetes or high-blood pressure. I was told that 1-night was standard policy. I didn't ask anything further.

Plus, the next day, I had a barium x-ray (Yuck!!!) After that went OK, I was good to go.
