Has anyone post surgery had any trouble with there gallbladder?

  • Yes. I had my first attack about 6 months after VSG. I had it removed shortly after. I don't have any issues.

My surgeon took mine out while he was doing the gastric sleeve surgery. He said it was inflamed. I was glad he did.

Yes. I started having acid reflux and sharp pain/nausea after eating at approximately 4 months post op. I am now 10 months post op and had my gallbladder removed last week. I feel so much better!

My thoughts exactly......they fix hernias during they surgery. Have to think positive, maybe mine wont give me any trouble. Fingers crossed.

Just had mine out last week, had stones . When you lose a lot of wt rapidly it can irritate the gallbladder. 10.5 months out and 90 pounds down.

Its very common to get stones. Had mine out about 1 month po.
