I had my VSG on 9/5/2017 and I was so thrilled before I had my surgery. I felt so much excitement because I worked hard to lose the weight I needed. I kept to the pre-op diet and managed to cut a lot of bad foods from my life. I made some big lifestyle changes as well. I hardly slept the week before my surgery and I felt the happiest I had ever felt in my life. But post-op, I just feel blah.
It seems like I just lost all the excitement I had before. I go to my group meetings and I see all the other patients who had the surgery, and they have seem to have endless amounts of energy. I don't regret my surgery at all, but could it just be from the hormonal changes my body is going through? What is causing this emotional fog?
