Getting sleeved tomorrow

I can't believe the day is finally here! I get sleeved tomorrow, September 18th, and I couldn't be more excited! I've lost a total of 25 pounds in the last 2 weeks during my pre-op diet for a grand total of 45 pounds. Anyone else getting sleeved tomorrow?

Thank you so much! My pre-op diet was 2 weeks. The first week I could have 3 protein shakes and a meal for dinner consisting of a protein and vegetable. Week 2 has been 5 protein shakes a day. I had to purchase Bariatric Advantage from my doctor's office, but it tasted like baby formula. Slim fast has 20g of protein shakes that are tolerable. Premier Protein is pretty great and their shakes are 30g. There's a website called Unjury, they have a chicken soup flavored powder that is really good and 21g of protein. Their unflavored powder can go in any drink also with 21g of protein. If you mix them in your shaker bottle, they totally dissolve and it isn't a thick consistency. You almost can't taste the unflavored powder. I hope this helps! Good luck!

Hi kristin....i just you d this app and I think I am glad I did, I too will have surgery tomorrow and I am concerned. All the things I am reading everyone did a 2 week pre-op diet, my doctor only had me do a 7 day one. Guess it's too late now since my surgery is scheduled for 8:45am..

Good luck! My surgery is this Thursday. Keep us posted!

Good Luck, I have ten days to go. I'm a couple of days into liver diet. Keep us posted.

My sleeve date is Tuesday the 19th. I am super excited. I think I have nervous energy tonight. Laundry is done . I have my hospital bag packed. All my clear proteins lined up ready to go. It's like "nesting" at the end of pregnancy. Its taken about 9 months of preparation, testing etc to get to this point! Let's do this!
