First food after surgery

Just had my first after surgery meal. Less than 2oz of roasted red pepper tomato soup and I feel like I just had seconds at thanksgiving. But, it is staying down and it doesn't hurt.

It sounds like things are going well. Easy does it and keep working on sipping your water. You're on your way!

Good for you!! My Dr has me on clear liquids and protein shakes (pre op diet) for a week after surgery (Friday) ........Looking forward to advancing to a little more variety.

Wow! Sounds like you are coming along!

Good job! I am so envious of you! I also had a clear liquid diet for the first week. Couldn't even have protein shakes until the second week (Full Liquid stage). It was basically broth, water, g2, and propel zero for a week. Remember to sip on liquids all day, and good luck on your journey!
