The transition to hard foods such as chicken and steak can be difficult. There is no need to rush things, just take your time.

You are eating too fast and not chewing enough. Slow down. Cut one tiny piece of food. Put it in your mouth. Chew 25-40 times. Put your fork down. Do not cut a second piece. Wait 40-60 seconds

Im 5 weeks out of surgery and have been doing great, maybe a lil too good lol. There has been about 4 times where i feel like theres something stuck in that area where your ribs meet . the pain can progress up my esophagus. Tonight i ate 2 ounces of rotisserie chicken and i could feel pain coming again, except this was worse than other times and to the point where i got nauseated. after 10 minutes of this i simply made myself puke and i instantly felt better. One time i do fine/perfect with a certain food then next time i eat it, this might happen. Im trying to take smaller bites, chew food better but as many know its a hard habit to break but I AM TRYING. Whats some of your opinions on this. Plus first time ive had foamies too since surgery. just makes no sense to me cause i ate beef jerky 2 days ago and this didnt happen.
