I was in a similar situation with family plans and trips so I postponed my surgery till after to allow for the best healing and self care. Go to Paris and then come home and prep and focus on healing.

So if everything looks good after my EGD on August 18th my Doctor can get me into surgery on the 25th. The thing is I already have a trip to Paris planned, and paid for. Will be leaving on September 12th. The nurse I talked to said I should be fine, but I'm not sure 2 weeks will be enough time to recover. Has anyone else travelled that soon after?
