  1. I'm in the same boat and I am battling. We have to get back to the basics! Let's go! You did it before. You can do it again.
  2. Don't forget to take your probiotics and Papaya Enzyme helps with breaking down your food(especially protein) for better absorption.
  3. Just had surgery on June 25th. That's normal. I had the same thing after almost a week of nothing. Get your fluids in. I also have watermelon for extra hydration.
  4. Try Swerve
  5. Had the same thing occur with a friend of 20+ years. She has even sunken to the low of fabricating a story that she has recently had the surgery. However, she doesn't have any of the habits that wls patients have.lol She went to Cracker Barrel for a kid's meal, (10 days after "surgery"), which was coincidentally was my first meal, although I had been sleeved and released from the hospital after a month. Does that even sound real? I don't know her issue and have no time to figure it out, so I have resolved to let her do her "journey" while I continue mine. #Unbothered Sent from my Moto Z2 Play using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. Dr. Wiljon Beltre is premier in this area. He is concerned about the patients beyond the knife and has a high success rate with his patients. Sent from my Moto Z2 Play using BariatricPal mobile app

  15. I can't move suddenly when I eat. I have to let it settle down. I feel stressed and like vomiting when I eat, and it is only two or three bites! Sent from my XT1097 using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. I couldn't stand the smell and taste of eggs after surgery (not that I was a fan before) but now I can tolerate them again and they are okay. My sensitivity to smell and taste are heightened. Meat is not my friend on most days. Ugh! Sent from my XT1097 using BariatricPal mobile app
  17. I too am excited about when I can experience this non scale victory. Sent from my XT1097 using BariatricPal mobile app

  19. More like a small ball that a kid would play with. I showed it to him on my last visit. He stated that it should go down, if not I may have a hernia but it would be too soon in my recovery to operate, as I am only four months post-op. Sent from my XT1097 using BariatricPal mobile app
  20. My doctor said that it will go away with time. It is irritated a lot and feels like a hard ball in the middle of my stomach. I can cup my hand over it. The stitch line burns and itches quite a bit. I am four months and 2 weeks post-op. Is anyone else having trouble? Sent from my XT1097 using BariatricPal mobile app
  21. Can you post your list and ratings? I am tired of wasting my money! Sent from my XT1097 using BariatricPal mobile app
  22. Some protein go-tos: Personally, I can't stand the Quest Protein Chips and the Protès Tortilla Chips! Yuck![emoji31] Sent from my XT1097 using BariatricPal mobile app
  23. The whole back and forth accusatory banter is a counter productive deflection to thwart discussion about the "Real" issue at hand, which is your original post about regretting the surgery. Check into resuming your therapy to figure this new way of living out and don't post in the forum areas until you are emotionally ready to review what others are saying and various perspectives, without all of the sour comeback statements and argumentative posting tone in your replies. #GoodLuckAdapting Sent from my XT1097 using BariatricPal mobile app
  24. What he said to you was true. If you can't deal with the point of view from other forum members, don't post. We should be able to be open and honest about all things relevant to this lifestyle we ALL laid on the operating table to commit to. Perhaps you should seek more individual therapy or group support to fully explore why you wanted surgery in the first place and what you expected to gain and contrast the inner discovery you make with the reality of what this new life really is. #DoNewThingsForNewResults Sent from my XT1097 using BariatricPal mobile app
  25. Some people are "nose blind" to their own body odor and one's family can be also. Let a close friend or family member sniff you who doesn't live with you nor is frequently exposed to you. Good luck with the final decision, OP! Sent from my XT1097 using BariatricPal mobile app
