I am 1 year out from surgery, started at 195 and now weigh 167. Not even 30 lbs lost! I follow every guideline almost meticulously (with the exception that I could drink more water and could always exercise a bit more). But overall, I eat healthy and get 60-70 grams of protein a day so I am puzzled. I went to my follow-up appt and told my PA that I am SEVERELY exhausted. To the point I need a nap nearly everyday. She mentioned that it could be my hormones and that we may see about getting them checked. No one has ever checked my hormones before so I wondered if this could be the problem? I'm 46 years old - I just shouldn't be this tired AND I should've lost more weight by now. Anyone else experience this? Last bloodwork only showed slightly low iron but B12 and Vitamin D levels were normal.
