It was suppose to be the 12th but long story short it got moved and found out it didn't have to be... so I have been on this preop diet since June 19th. I've lost about 26 lbs so that's nice. July 16, 20179 yr Count me in! Starting liquid diet on Tuesday - getting nervous - surgery on 7/31. How are you all doing that are already on the shakes??
July 16, 20179 yr I'm on day 3 of pre-op diet. Mine is 2 protein shakes and 1 lean protein and veggie meal. Today has been the hardest day so far... I feel like all I have thought about today is food. I think the first two days were easier because I was busy all day and didn't have time to think about it. 2 good things though, I had a headache for the first two days and that went away and I lost 3.5 pounds.
