I cant help but smile even while in pain that I get a new BEGINNING on my LIFE! I cant wait to see the end results! how long before I am able to exercise?

I am learning that the pain is more so from the repair. I am enjoying this resting up phase although I cant really find a comfortable sitting place to read. I find joy in loading up all these great recipes to do this successfully!

No idea that the hernia was this painful. Its one incision towards the top of my stomach really killing me other than that I am fine! Happy healing everyone?

Surgery 7/20/17 I made it! I feel a less pressure around the incisions although the one above my umbilical cord is the worst every move feels like It is ripping open. bThe nurses said that my main pain from the hernia repair surgery/I dont which is which- just in PAIN! I managed to get up 3 flights of star after being released! I wanted to stay in the hospital I was like nooooo this bed is adjustable mines dont do this! I think it should be a 2 day required hospital; stay! My question is now what IS THIS BLOATED SHARP PAIN I AM FEELING? WHAT TO DO? i am scared to do anything to harm myself besides sip this water and protein!

Im on the 24 hour clear liquids consist of the protein diet?

Thanks for the prompt response. I am definitely starting this morning. Luckily I have been going light prior to the approval so it won't be a mental shock.

I started this journey 5/9/17 after years of denial. This year I made the realistic decision to walk in the Dr. Office asking for help with now a possible death sentence. After the traumatic fire lost after a new marriage, I realized that I could have dead in the fire. I am expecting a longer healthy life. My son got married this year and couldn't imagine not being able to enjoy my grandkids. I'm excited about my NEW BEGINNING! My Dr. Office scheduled my surgery before approval so I am not on pre op diet. My clearance came to my husband phone while in the chest xray ? what is the required days of pre op diet?
