Vitamins

How long after surgery did you have to wait before taking vitamins?

Also, what kind of vitamins do you prefer?

I could start them when I could tolerate them. So I started at five days post op.
I take centrum chewable multivitamins 2x a day
Bariatric advantage chocolate chewable calcium (500) 2x a day
Vitamin B12 (500) sublingual 1x a day.
I have set alarms on my phone and bought a large pill dispenser. I fill it once a week.

It was after clear liquid stage for me, so on day 8.

I take the Celebrate vitamins, calcium chews (berry is the best) and the chewable multi with iron, however, they were fine before but now burn my throat and I cringe when i take them. If I didn't by 120 I'd already switch to a pill form.

I am taking the Bariactric fusion chewables in berry flavor. They have everything you need in one big vitamin. I take them 3 times a day.

Took them the very day I got home from the hospital. 2 days post.

I definitely prefer the multivitamin patch that I'm on now. I couldn't do the Celebrate chewables anymore, I feel sick just thinking of them. I also take B-12 sublingual tablets (tastes fine) and Bariatric Advantage calcium citrate chewables (taste pretty good).
