Lost in the mail

I'm getting so impatient my documents were submitted over two weeks ago. I'm inpatient, and called to follow up with my insurance. They never received them so they had to be sent again. They finally got them on Monday so now I'm playing the waiting game. I have bcbs how long does it usually take.

I have bcbs and it took them less than a week to review and approve.

How come these things aren't handled electronically these days?

Call BCBS everyday but they're pretty quick with a response.
