Any June Sleevers!?!

Looking to connect with anyone who is having their surgery preferably in June. A surgery buddy would be helpful I think! :)

I start the pre-op liquid diet in a few weeks, i'm not looking forward to that. I'm concerned about how I'm going to stick to it! What are everyone's major concerns about the surgery? For me it's the nausea and being able to intake enough fluids - I'm hoping for the best but going into it knowing it could be pretty difficult those first few months.

I hope everyone have a successful journey! ?

I'm doing mine in Mexico, I'm concerned about several things. 1) no doctor follow ups, 2) self control, 3) being sick to whatever stomach I have left. I have acid reflux now and am on meds. I can hurl over anything; coughing, dry throat, brushing my teeth. Surgery/anesthesia makes me nauseous and 4) what if I have some undiagnosed underlying issue such as hypothyroidism and I still don't lose like I expect?

I hear you, there's so much to think about! All we can do is expect the best but be aware of what can arise so we aren't completely caught off guard if issues come up. I'm praying for everything to run smoothly! :)
