  1. I burp all the time I’m about 6 mo post op. Burping is a sign that you are full. If you’ve eaten too much you will burp a lot and even get sick, or at least I do. Totally normal. Maybe watch what foods are worse and your portions. Heavy protein will fill you faster and cause more burping.

  3. I've been obsessed thinking about all the foods I can eat once I con co puréed. I am tired of liquid everything. Have you tried gum? That was my plan but since I'm constantly drinking I haven't wanted gum

  10. I agree. Maybe being more vocal would relieve the stigma. I'm an open book too. I haven't shouted it from the rooftops but a ton of people know. I haven't had any negativity. I have found that a ton of people are phobic about surgery in general and it seems any resistance I have run into has been from that. I was advised to not tell anyone but I just can't lie. Not over this.

  21. I have been worried about the protein shakes. I have a very keen palette. which is great as a fatty now i need to find shakes i can live on. I have done more research on shakes than the actual surgery. I like Click coffee best. Shakeology chocolate with PB2 is good. I'm trying to make my own with unflavored protein meal replacement. This way i can sweeten it myself and create my own flavors. i'm using loriann baking emulsions rather than extracts. Creamy coconut shake anyone? I'll let you know when i get the supplies in. I'm also making my own broths to add unflavored protein meal replacement too. I really crave savory and salt more than sweet shakes. Premixed Premier chocolate is pretty easy to drink. I have ordered samples packets from different companies to see what i like best. check back with me in a few weeks. I'm bringing my creative culinary skills to the table.
  22. I have some of the same fears. liquid diet, learning to take in the protein and water amounts i need. i'm hoping the post op nausea and gas will be live able. hair loss since i've always been overweight it's been my one pride and joy not sure how i'll react to the loss in the end.
  23. i was just confirmed to day have a date for june 9th as long as insurance approval gets done in time.
