I actually just did this and then I read your post! I will send you an email with the facebook group details!

I'm looking forward to not feeling like I need to dull down my personality and who I am so I don't draw more attention to my being overweight! It'll also be nice to not dress like it's winter during summer!

I hear you, there's so much to think about! All we can do is expect the best but be aware of what can arise so we aren't completely caught off guard if issues come up. I'm praying for everything to run smoothly!

I start the pre-op liquid diet in a few weeks, i'm not looking forward to that. I'm concerned about how I'm going to stick to it! What are everyone's major concerns about the surgery? For me it's the nausea and being able to intake enough fluids - I'm hoping for the best but going into it knowing it could be pretty difficult those first few months.

Hiya, I'm June 7th! I will do the liquid diet for 3 weeks prior to surgery.

Looking to connect with anyone who is having their surgery preferably in June. A surgery buddy would be helpful I think!
