HOP INTO SPRING CHALLENGE!!

  • Popular Post

Here we go again!

This challenge will run from April 7, 2017 through June 2, 2017. This will give us a total of 9 weigh ins. I will do my best to post to the spreadsheet within 1 - 2 day of receiving your weight but I am working three jobs and taking 5 classes so if it takes me a few extra days I am sorry but I WILL have it updated as soon as possible!! Please note that I will recalculate the figures as soon as I can following the Friday weigh in - so your weight percentages may be a little off...

I have made these Friday weigh ins because that will allow us to start as soon as possible. You may post your weight at anytime during the week if Friday is not your weigh in day!

This challenge is for everyone. If you are pre op, post op, in maintenance or looking for some accountability; this challenge is for you! The rules and link to the spreadsheet are below!

Procedures:
Please Post Your Starting Weight (Weight on or around April 7th) and your Goal Weight (what you would like to weigh at the end of the challenge) at the start of the challenge on April 7, 2017.

You can cut/paste this below and fill it in on your post -

Goal Weight:
Current Weight:
Today's Date:

Rules:
1. I will be awarding a prize to 2 lucky participants! The winners will be selected at random an the only thing you need to do to be eligible for the drawing is log your weight each week!
2.Post your weight on this thread every Friday. Specifically 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12, 5/19, 5/26, and 6/2
3. If you change your screen name please let me know.
4. If you miss 2 or more weigh ins, I will assume you no longer want to participate and your name will be removed from the spreadsheet.
5. If you miss a weigh in on Friday, no problem. Just post it asap.
6. We are all here to support each other, if you post a question anyone can answer.

7. You will know your weight is updated on the spreadsheet once I've liked your post!

The link to the spreadsheet is below! Have fun, and good luck with this challenge!!!

Okay I figured out how to search for my posts. I don't see it. I did that with my phone and my weight this morning with my phone. There must be a problem there.

My starting weight was 161.8 (taken Friday 4/14/17)

Goal Weight 148

Todays weight 160.8 (4/21/17)

4-21 233.8

My 4/21 weight is 202.8 so I am going in the right direction this week. I think it helped that I upped my calories. I was around 750-800 a day and now I am trying to stay over 900.

CONGRATULATIONS@dashofpixiedust8!!

Can I ask what you eat a day. I am stuck between 161 and 164. We have the same goal weight but you are loosing and I am stalled. Just curious what you are still doing and how far out you are. Thanks!

I hope I'm allowed to start late. I have my weights for all three days.

April 7: 254.2

April 14: 251.4

April 21: 247

Goal weight for June: 225 (the weight I was in June the last time I set my mind to losing the old fashioned way. I remember how AWESOME I felt, and I want to feel that again. :) )

My weight is 164. I keep yo yoing between 162 and 164. Can anyone help me break this 4 month stall?? I have 15 pounds left. Thank you!!

Make sure you're getting enough water and exercise. Waste products created as the body metabolizes its tissues are hydrophilic, which means you tend to retain more water as your body is working to eliminate the waste products.

The second thing is to make sure you're eating quality food and not too little of it. Lots of people find increasing calories by 200 breaks their stall. Likely because your body is producing fewer metabolic waste products when you up your fuel intake. It lets you get caught up and then the water weight goes away.
