Dizzy & Light headed

I'm 6 weeks post op. I get very dizzy & light headed when I stand up. Just started a week ago. Anyone else experience anything similar ?

I have an appt to see my primary tomorrow but this forum has such wealth of answers I had to ask.

I'm 3 years out and still get that way. It will get better but may not go away. I usually have it happen because I need to drink more water or I need to eat.

I think it's lack of food and/or not enough water -- blood pressure can elevate when u don't have enough water which can cause the dizziness

I'm having this same problem and was curious about why it was happening... it mostly happens when I get up from a squatting position

You'll probably get better once you're farther out.

I experienced this for the 1st 3-4 months, and thankfully it has gone away completely, just keep up with your fluids. But it is normal since you body is still trying ot regulate.
