Juicing

Is it ok to juice after WLS? I have always wanted to try it but now don't know if it's a good idea or not.

I would say so. You get soo many nutrients you would never be able to eat. If you put some protein powder in it you could get your protein too. Much better than a premade protein drink

O yeah adding the protein powder is a good idea! Thank u.

I was told as little liquid calories as possible.

Juice=sugar, and worse, the spike and drop in blood sugar will make you hungry, and the juice won't fill you up.

Eat real food.

Seems to me that juices are high in calories and sugar. Adding protein gives it a boost but there are much better ways to add it to your diet. I'd be very cautious...........

As long as you keep the veggie juice high and fruit juice really low it should be fine.

Yeah...with fruits your carb count will probably be through the roof. Is there any particular reason why you want to do it?
