What made you choose sleeve over other options? DS or RNY?

Looking to revise from band.

Thanks!

I choose the sleeve because I take Ibuprofen. Also, nothing was rearranged and reattached. That made me slightly nervous. I think people who are close to, or under 300 lbs. would have great success with the sleeve.

One of the things I wish came with the sleeve, is dumping. Nothing like a little negative reinforcement to make sure you eat healthy.

The sleeve is a great option for lots of people. If you already have gerd, that is one reason to consider a bypass instead.

Good thing is if the sleeve is a problem, it can be converted later. A bypass is, for the most part, not gonna be changed.

You will already have scar tissue, which could impact your choices.
