Best scar strips post op

Does anyone have recommendations for scar strips post op? Just curious as to what everyone has used and how well they think they worked. Thanks!

I didn't use anything. The scars were very tiny, less than an inch. I'll be two years out in May and they are already completely gone.

Mine are really small too. 4 are about 1/2 an inch, one about an inch. They are all covered with dermabond, so you can't put anything on them until that falls off.


Eighteen months out and can hardly see them.

They are usually covered after surgery anyway so I wouldn't even bother.

my scars are thin lines.
One of my kids gets keloid scars so have used skin medico scar gel for other types of wounds.

My scars are really thin also. But I've been using scar away strips just to help and make them even less visible lol.
