TMI Question for the Ladies

I have my surgery date and by my calculations, it will likely be "that time of the month." It's making me nervous. Did anyone experience this at the time of their surgery? I have my final pre-op appointment with the doctor in a couple of weeks and plan on bringing it up, but I don't wan to sound silly.

Got mine the day of surgery and they told me to put pad between my legs. It's not that bad. Alot people start after surgery cause of the after shock to the body.

I was suppose to be on mine as well and did bring it up to my surgeon. She said it happens but not too worry. They just cover the bed with the changing pads.
Also to not wear tampons to avoid forgetting about it.
Bring pads and change of clothes.

I ended up starting 2 days before I was suppose to start which made me end 2 days before surgery I was so happy!
I haven't had any abnormal bleeding either, I'm also not on any birth control if that matters.
