Drinking to easily?

Howdy,

I'm 5days post sleeve, and I'm able to sip an 8oz water + protein mixture down within 30minutes. Is this normal? Should I be worried of the ease of it all and stretching my stomach?

I thought there was something wrong when I could drink a decent amount after surgery as well. I think all of the research we do beforehand tends to make us think we will struggle as other people did.

There are a lot of new sleevers who mention not being able to get even 2-oz down. Too much cold Water makes my stomach unhappy, but other than that drinking has been easy from about 5 days out.

I wouldnt worry about being able to drink easily. Most people struggle with fluids initially, so at least youre not going to have dehydration!

Water and thin fluids go straight through the stomach.

Congrats on the surgery

Kate
