Newbie

I decided last june 2016 to finally do something about my weight, seemed like i puffed and panted when trying to do thing i used to love. My kids could see at the beach it was a struggle to take long walks, i would have to rest, i have a 3 year old granddaughter and i just couldn't play with her like I wanted to, my knees, my back would be in constant pain. I went to the seminar in june. I weighed 290 lbs and started the process, following the nutrition guildline where hard writhing everything down but slowely things started to fall in place . In August 2016 my house burnt down and we lost everything that's when i really got serious no food, i started living on Peanut Butter and jelly sandwiches , we moved Oct into a new house and I actually was scared that now i could cook, i would backslide but nope,

I got approved Feb 2017 for surgery and my surgery is scheduled April 4th gastric sleeve and gall bladder removed. Im excited!!!

My start weight was 290 currenty im 260.

First, let me say I'm so sorry to hear about your house fire!! That's terrible!

Second, Congrats on getting your surgery scheduled! That's very exciting. I wish you much success.

Take Care,

Kathy

Congrats! You pushed through the hardship and made it to the other side. That's only 2 months to go, you'll do great!

Goodness, I bet you were glad to see the back of 2016. So sorry to hear about your home.

Now, 2017.. it's going to be your year!!! Not too long to wait, congrats :D
