I finally got my date for surgery!!!! So happy and nervous at the same time. Anyone else being sleeved on April 24th? I can't believe I only have two month left!

I went to Dr Ponce de Leon at the Oasis of Hope Hospital. Excellent service!!!!!

That's where I am going. I have his partner Dr. Frayre and he is so nice. I've spoken with him on the phone and I can't wait to talk to him.

Just got the call from the Hospital!!! Have to be there 6am Monday morning surgery will be at 7:30! Way to exciteddddd [emoji1373]

On my 13th day of liquid diet. I never noticed how many food commercial are on tv.. luckily I have managed to keep busy working and going to gym. Though my energy is lacking. Wednesday the 26 is coming soon..

I wish I was like all these posters who were feeling great a few days out of surgery. Today is post op day 11 for me and I feel horrible. The stinging pain in my indentation is enough to take my breath away.

Congratulations! I got my call from the hospital too. I need to be there at 8am Monday morning and surgery will be at 10am. Looking forward to this and getting off this liquid diet! Lol

6 days post op and I feel amazing sleeved 4/17

I made it!!! Finally on the losers bench... surgery was yesterday at around 3:00 pm. The gas pain immediately out of surgery was pretty intense, but it has eased up immensely! I'm walking and walking and walking this morning. Good luck to all of my fellow April sleevers. We got this!

My surgery is tomorrow morning at 7:10, but I've been at the hospital for the research study for the last two days. They control my diet and menu and there are specific times I can eat. But today I started the clear liquids, five times a day. This blows. I give my hat off (if I wore one) to all you mandatory liquid dieters.

I've been stuck in a bedroom since 5 o'clock Friday night and not allowed to leave or sleep until my allotted bed time. Bored out of my mind I am, with a pretty bad caffeine headache for two days now. I'm still not nervous about the surgery. I'm actually looking forward to it to escape this jail I've been in. So, good luck to all you 24'thers tomorrow. Just think, by Tuesday the surgery will already be in our rear view mirror.
