Question for lifters: How are you increasing your caloric intake?
Webapprentice replied to BigViffer's topic in The Guys’ Room
I will review your old post. My wife keeps assuring me that there must be guys like me out there like me. I know i will not see my max bench of 425 again for a while but I am starting to look at the less weight more reps. I have also invested in some bands for my initial post surgery workouts. I hope I will have the energy. Anyway enough posting on this post as this was meant to be a post on getting enough calories for workout which I will be interested to see what people recommend. -
I have been using the nasal one for about 5 years. Just push through you will get used to. Does it change the way you have to sleep, yes. Is it a pain to deal with, yes. But you will find you will adjust and feel better. I just think it is sad that they make people do this for weight lost surgery. My hope is after I lose the weight I will not need the cpap but it has been a blessing these last 5 years. Stick with it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

This topic worries me as I currently lift weights 3 to 4 times a week. I lift for about an 1 1/2 and I lift heavy in a pyramid with lots of reps at the lower weights. It keeps me sane. I am worried that after surgery it will take me months or longer to get back to lifting the way I am now. I know the weight loss is important so I have to look at the big picture.
