I finally got my date for surgery!!!! So happy and nervous at the same time. Anyone else being sleeved on April 24th? I can't believe I only have two month left!

Thank you! I just can't get rid of the voice in my head that keeps telling me I should be able to do this on my own without the surgery...

The 18th for me

Just received my date today April 24th as well. I am so excited but at the same time so so nervous. I've sign consent and have everything done except for pre-op blood work which I believe is scheduled for the April 12, 2017 and one final nutrition class on the same day. Counting down!

I'm the 24th too! Yikes!!

i HAD MINE DONE ON THE 8TH. ONLY THING THAT BOTHERED ME WAS THE BURPING. IT WOULDNT LET ME SLEEP BUT OTHER THEN THAT I WAS WALKING 2 HOURS AFTER. I THOUGHT ID FEEL A LOT MORE PAIN....

NOW IF I FEEL PAIN ITS VERY LITTLE WHEN I MOVE A CERTAIN WAY. BURPING STILL OFTEN BUT NOT LIKE AT FIRST, THAT WAS CONSTANTLY.

KEEP YOUR HEAD UP AND DONT BE SO WORRIED.

Hey guys I was sleeved on 4/5! I wish all of you luck on this journey! I am still dealing with nausea and vomiting. I don't want to discourage anyone but I'm feeling as if did I make the right decision? Idkk if it's just me ! But hope you guys have better luck recovering!

Yay!! There are a lot of us 24th'ers! I was asked to be in a paid research study for four months to study how the gastric sleeve affects the metabolism afterwards. I can't even be nervous properly beforehand since I'm sleeping at the hospital so much. Hopefully this five year study will show just how much this surgery changes our bodies by just changing the stomach.
