April 4th sleeve buddies! I am so excited and nervous, it's just around the corner!!

Hi Ladies,

I am a newbie here. I finally got through all my tests and clearance from insurance. I have a pre-op appt with my surgeon on April 3rd and that is when they will tell me my surgery date. They are planning for it to be in April too.

I am so nervous and excited at the same time. Anyone having second thoughts? I sometimes question myself but then I have to convince myself that I am doing good for my health. I have diabetes and bad joint pain.

Good luck to everyone who is getting sleeved next week.

:-)

Congrats! I am getting sleeved on April 13th. Pre op appt on april 4th. Currently on the liquid diet. Over 2 years ago I made the decision of wanting to get sleeved but I had some doubts like yourself. After several attempts of doing it without this tool they're giving us I couldn't get where I wanted. But I know after 2 years of thinking about it and going through all I went through I know I'm making the right decision. I also suffer from joint pain, also migraines and degenerative disc disease. I can't wait to lose all this extra weight and get some relief. It's normal to feel how you're feeling. Remember you have til the day of surgery to change your mind if you aren't ready. Good luck and hope you find some peace of mind after reading several success stories.

Had my first surgery dream last night and it wasn't a good one [emoji30] I dreamt that I was in so much pain crying hysterically and couldn't walk! I think it's because I've been doing so much research I fell asleep thinking about it lol anyone else have any dreams?!
