I'm 2 days before you. 2/13. I'm not nervous I just want it over with because I'm on day 2 of the 2-week pre-op liquid diet & I'm tired as hell & hungry.

Good luck to us! Our time is almost here.

Height 5'0"

Weight for consultation: 216 lbs.

Pre-op Weight: Unknown until January 20th.

My profile picture is not me. It's my "FitSpiration" body.

CocoNina...I'm the 13th too! Try some creative protein shakes.

I'm February 15TH as well. Closing out day two of liquids.

  • 2 weeks later...

Everything went well.i feel great. No pain to speak of.

I had the sleeve on 2/15/17 and am really feeling good. Still a bit hard to drink all the water I'm supposed to.
My only complaint is I feel very tired. No energy.

I had the sleeve on 2/15 also. Trying to drink as much water as possible...but for past 4 days now I haven't had any weight loss...

I haven't lost but 5 lbs since surgery but I have decided not to get on the scale daily so I don't become disillusioned. I didn't gain this weight in a day so probably won't lose it that way. I hear of others who have lost more than that and it tends to discourage me, though I am very happy for those that are losing. I just have to do what is right for me.

I'm still struggling to get in the required fluids. I'm usually coming up 10-15oz short each day. I'm getting in all the required protein though so I guess that's good. I've lost 12lbs since surgery. I don't start soft solids until next Wednesday, it can't come fast enough.

Going good. I have my post-op appt later today!

Hi all! I had the surgery on 2/15, too. I've really struggled over the past week to meet both my Fluid and Protein goals-- dang, but it's difficult. My doctor said not to worry about protein at this point, just liquids, but I'm trying regardless. I'm with you, jjsasha-- I've been about 15oz short on liquids each day. We just gotta keep at it, I guess!
