I'll make you feel better? I was sleeved 2/15/17 and have only lost 20 lbs since surgery. Talk about frustrating!!

Coffee?
I drank a cup of coffee with a bit of sugar and a little half and half. It was very good and I tolerated it very well.

2/15! Anyone else?
Thanks!! I thought maybe you meant grams when you were talking about the protein? Someone gave me info about a powder protein that each scoop gives 30 grams of protein. It dissolves well in water. If you like yogurt there are some with high protein - sometimes 12.

2/15! Anyone else?
Okay I feel stupid because I see this in a lot of posts but I don't know what it is. What is NUT? I was given instructions of getting 80-100 grams of Protein a day. And sorry i misspoke. I was told 4 cups -- 32 oz. that certainly doesn't seem like enough.

2/15! Anyone else?
I hear of several different amounts as to what is the desired amount of Water to drink daily. Can I get some feedback on what instructions you received regarding that? I was told 40 oz.

2/15! Anyone else?
I haven't lost but 5 lbs since surgery but I have decided not to get on the scale daily so I don't become disillusioned. I didn't gain this weight in a day so probably won't lose it that way. I hear of others who have lost more than that and it tends to discourage me, though I am very happy for those that are losing. I just have to do what is right for me.

Considering Sleeve Surgery in Mexico
Hi. I have a higher BMI than you do and have high blood pressure. I was unable to afford surgery here in the states. I recently made the trip to Mexico to have my sleeve surgery performed. My surgeon was dr Luis Cervantes and only have positive things to say. Unlike the United States (from what I hear) you stay in the hospital 2 nights after surgery and are continually hydrated with IV fluids. They also gave me nausea and pain meds via IV. The good news is I never ever had pain. I had a little discomfort at the incision sites but never any pain. My surgery was on feb 15, 2017.

So sorry. I pray you will be better very very soon.

2/15! Anyone else?
I had the sleeve on 2/15/17 and am really feeling good. Still a bit hard to drink all the water I'm supposed to. My only complaint is I feel very tired. No energy.

Food ideas
I just started taking my Vitamin, today. Multi vitamin gummy. It only gas 2 g of sugar. Is that too much? What other vitamin do I need to take?

Coffee?
What's "moderation" when it comes to coffee? Right now I'd be happy with being able to have a cup but figured I'd definitely wait at least 2weeks.

Coffee post op
I soooo miss my coffee. Can't wait to have some. I usually drink with half and half. Will I be able to? I'm only 4 days out -- had sleeve surgery on 2/15.
