Question about tomato soup?

I'm on Phase 2 liquids. The list includes strained cream Soups. Would tomato Soup be ok?

    Yes - tomato soup was on my list as long as it was low sodium and strained our pieces. I liked Pacific Organic low sodium cream of tomato and I also liked Trader Joe's low sodium cream of tomato. Still do :-)

    My diet guide specifically tells me to avoid tomato soup because of the high acidity. When I asked, I was told to wait because you want as little irritation as possible at first.
