Feeling sick

I am 10 days post op and I woke up this morning feeling terrible. Got all my meds and Vitamins down but it was difficult. I'm now trying to sip on my Protein drink and just relax. Everything just feels off. I just feel... terrible. This is the first time I've felt this way. I wonder if I'm just getting sick. Any thoughts?

Remember U just had surgery. Things are just a little different. Take it slow. Everyone handles this surgery different. I wish you the best. I'm 3 months post op. Down 35 lbs. Just hang in there.

10 days after my surgery I started feeling tired and lightheaded. After I emailed my NUT, she told me to try a Protein shake which is from my Phase II post op diet. It did help a little. The next day, I was back to feeling tired and lightheaded. After I checked my blood pressure, I realized that one of the things I bought had WAY more sugar in it than I thought it did. But I had stopped drinking it because I started Phase I. The NUT told me to add some V8 Splash Diet, also from my Phase II. She told me I need to balance the little sugar that was in that with the small amount of carbs. And that did it. I thought this might help.

Usually your immune system is shot after surgery and the lack of nutrition, hormones are off balance making you feel depressed and irritable. I am 2.5 weeks out and have the worst cold :(. Feel better! Make sure you get plenty of rest and lots of fluids.
