  1. Hello im 3 months post op. I'm going through what I hope is a phase, where I'm hungry alllll the time. Like I'll eat and be full.. but 10 minutes later I'm hungry again. I'm literally just always hungry. It wasn't like this up until about a week ago. It's worrying me and I just hope it's a phase or something.
  2. I actually had the bypass
  3. I'm 3 months post op and I ate a donut last night and it was the worst decision I've made in my life. I felt TERRIBLE. I had cold sweats, dry heaves, a headache, the worst stomach ache I've ever had, and I was even shivering. I felt like I was dying. Needless to say I am going to be steering CLEAR of sugar from now on.
  4. I started losing weight again the night I posted this. [emoji16]
  5. I dont count carbs. But the only thing they would be in is my fruit and yogurt. Like I went over my diet with a dietitian and she said it was perfect
  6. 70oz water. At least 60 grams of protein. 2 months post op
  7. I dont have any advice. But I am in the exact same boat. I'm 65 days post op and I haven't lost anything in 2 weeks. In fact, I've gained 2 pounds. It's very discouraging
  8. So I mentioned last week that I was not losing weight. Well nothings changed. In fact I've gained 2 pounds! I'm getting very discouraged. I'm eating perfectly. Literally just protein, veggies, and fruit. Getting in all my water and vitamins. Walking a mile a day, and still nothing! I'm so confused and I'm starting to feel like this surgery was for nothing.
  9. Im 8 weeks post op and I finally started exercising yesterday. I walked a half mile yesterday and a mile today. I feel good and im very motivated. Hopefully I keep it up.
  10. I am 2 months post op and I was losing weight pretty steadily until this last week I've actually gained 3 pounds! I don't understand. If I'm only eating a fraction of what i ate before, how can I possibly be gaining weight? It's just so discouraging. Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  11. I mean it's not the end of the world and it's not even very often that I feel this way. Tonight I just really wanted to finish my cheese steak lol. Old habits die hard. It's ok. It'll be lunch and dinner tomorrow Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  12. I dont regret my surgery or anything, but I MISS food. I mean I can pretty much eat whatever I want, but im always full right when my brain is like, "oh man this is yummy" like I just miss enjoying my food. At least a few more bites would be nice sometimes. Idk I'm just venting. Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  13. Almost 8 weeks out. Today has been terrible. All day I've had the same burning pain that I had when I drank. It's like it's eating through my stomach. If it doesn't stop soon I'm going to the er Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  14. The attitudes are strong on this thread. Lol Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  15. I drank a small shot last night and it burned and ached inside of my stomach for at least 5 minutes. The pain was excruciating! Needless to say that will be the last time I do that! Has anyone had a similar experience? Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  16. Thank you. Did you go to the hospital for the enema or was it over the counter? Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  17. I am just not having them! ???? I'm a month and a half out of surgery and I've probably had a handful of small bowel movements. I know im so backed up. Ugh anyone else going through this? I'm taking stool softeners and milk of magnesia. Any more suggestions?? Sorry I know this is TMI. Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  18. You'll be fine. I had a bite of a tamale 5 days post op. Accidents happen Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  19. That has been my experience as well. A number of people at work noticed, but didn't feel comfortable saying anything. Eventually, someone who was a little less socially-sensitive brought it up at a group lunch and other people commented that they had noticed for a while. So, yeah, if you've lost 50 pounds, people have probably noticed, but just don't feel comfortable saying anything. What is more important than looks though is is how you feel. At 50 pounds lost, I could already tell that my knees and back didn't hurt like they used to; I could bend over and tie my shoes without straining; and I could run up a couple flights of stairs without feeling like I was going to die. Yes I have definitely noticed I can put my shoes and socks on much easier, and I also fit much better in my car ???????? Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
  20. I'm just wondering how long it took before people actually started noticing your weight loss? I've lost 50lbs and I don't feel like I look any different. Also no one has mentioned anything to me about it. I know it's not a huge deal. I'm very happy with how far I've come. I'm just interested in hearing your stories ???? 23. I have a 6 year old and 10 year old. From the mo.ent my appointments and classes started I told them the truth. In full detail. (Not saying that what you're doing is wrong).. they were worried at first, but they had lots of time to get used to it and ask all the questions they wanted. By the time surgery came around they were more than prepared. Sent from my SM-G920V using the BariatricPal App
