What surgery did you have? Are you taking too big of bites? I chew everything 20 to 30 times.

Had lapband surgery 10/12/16

Are you on any type of Proton Pump Inhibitor?

Are you taking zantac or something equivalent?

I was given a month's prescription while still in the hosp. Had to take it for one month. Am weaning off of it now.

You weren't given anything like that?

No I wasn't given that - I was given a chalk like liquid, I think it is like Gaviscon and maybe has some inti inflamotory in it, as it is in Spanish I can't understand it! I went to Tijuana and would not recommend this company or hospital, the care was awful and a couple of us were in a lot of pain when we woke up.

Definitely sounds like acid. That's how I felt even with a PPI. Took liquid Carafate for 10 days and now all better.
